I bought two of the gold last year from a local store. They are beautiful but terribly fragile. It was a matter of wearing them twice when they began to kind of fall apart. It was something like a sweater getting pulls, but not exactly. It looked shabby like a sweater can, but of course we a talking about very different materials. This bracelet is almost like a material in that it is soft and lovely, but not at all sturdy. I feel bad criticizing these, but felt I must speak up so maybe someone like might not be disappointed and also wishing she had not spent her money, These are at least not as expensive by perhaps $20.00 less per bracelet than the department stores were charging.Well at least you can feel better about losing less money.I would recommend them to someone who would keep her eyes on them all of the time, and who is also someone who doesn't move much.
